What do I wear for my facial and body treatments?
Before we pamper you in our treatment room, we will escort you to the relevant changing area where you can change into our robes and slippers.
For facial treatments, please remove all jewellery from neck up, and lock them in your locker with the rest of your attire, bags and cellular phones. Remember to take the key with you. Most chose to remove all garments except for their underwear. For the more modest ones, feel free to keep your lower attire.
For massages, please remove all jewelry and lock them in your chosen locker with the rest of your attire, bags and cellular phones. Remember to take the key with you. You will be given disposable panties (ladies) and briefs (men) to wear under your robe. |

Should I tip my therapists?
What is the norm?
To tip or not to tip; it’s your prerogative entirely. Of course, they would be thrilled to receive some gratuity for jobs well done. And I am sure any amount would be greatly appreciated. |

It's my first for a facial. Is there anything I should know?
A facial involves the basic steps of cleansing, exfoliating, treatment (if any) and mask. Since it normally takes an hour or more, most customers like to visit the bathroom before they begin. You should always talk to your therapist before any facial. She needs to know your concerns, preferences and what is best suited for your skin condition.
Don't worry about coming to us with a full face of makeup. Your therapist will remove them all. But do bring along your makeup to re-apply if you are uncomfortable with leaving True Spa bare-faced. Of course, we will apply moisturizer or chemical-free sunscreen at the end of your facial treatment to protect your face.

Can I put on makeup after a facial treatment?
Unless your skin is red or irritated, it is perfectly fine to wear makeup after a facial treatment. Just be careful not to rub your skin too much for fear of further aggravation. We have suitably lit makeup areas for you to doll up before you face the world again.

Do you use machines for your facials?
Our facial treatments do not require any machines per se. Having said that, we have incorporated two facial treatments with medical grade machines to facilitate expedited results. Namely, they are the Regenerating C-Collagen and Renormalize facial treatments.
Regenerating C-Collagen involves the use of cavitation; which is ultrasound technology to 'shake' the debris out from the skin. It is good for removal of white heads and some less stubborn black heads. Renormalize utilizes LED-photon technology to eliminate the acne causing bacteria.

Will my therapist leave the room during my facial treatment?
Your therapist may leave your room for a few minutes either to prepare some treatment products or to let you relax. Or in the case of Renormalize facial treatment, you are left alone for 10 to 15 mins under the LED-photon lamp. No worries, she will not abandon you otherwise. |

Do you practice extractions during facials?
Your therapist practices extractions at her expert discretion and with your consent. Please let her know if you decide to opt out of it.
All our extractions are very gentle and most do not require any tools; our skin softening peels 'open' clogged pores and some slight pressure is all that's needed to remove the trapped debris. |

I want to treat my boyfriend with a relaxing time at True Spa but he says that "it's a girl-thing". Are there any services that are suitable for my he-man? Does True Spa even welcome men?
Of course we do welcome men! In fact, we welcome our male clients so much that they get their own rooms in tasteful, calming 'he-man' ambience, with he-man size robes and slippers provided.
Your boyfriend will love our Facial Treatments, Body Polishes and Massages. None of that coy or sweet synthetic fragrance to leave him smelling like a strawberry shortcake or a bed of roses. Whether it's good skin, a soothing massage or just some downtime that he is after, we can make him a happy man.
Who says only girls have all the fun?

Can I have a massage together with my husband?
We can do better than that! You and your partner can choose to have any of our spa treatments together in one of our beautifully outfitted, spacious 'VIP/Couple Rooms'. Each couple room comes equipped with its own couple-sized hydrobath so the two of you can luxuriate in a relaxing soak with hydrojets and all.
There's no better way to steal away from the hustle and bustle of everyday grind for a few hours of true bliss together.
